MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021

One more year, the Department of Complementary Extra-curricular Activities in cooperation with the Head of Studies organized a Christmas contest for the whole Educational community.

This year the contest had two different categories:

  • A decorated Christmas ball.
  • A Christmas tree with dimensions set out in the contest rules.

All the works, made by the participants, were exhibited in the school foyer and everybody could vote online choosing their favourites.

I would like to congratulate all the participants for the quality of the work they presented and for the colour they brought to the school.

However, I would like to point out that I feel very proud of my students in the Bilingual Section, all of them did their best in order to take part in the contest. They know very well that it is a way to make their English teacher happy. Due to their high participation, I decided to organized a mini contest for all my students.

Here are some photos of their work:

HALLOWEEN 2020: Halloween Decorating Contest

As customary in previous years, our High School was decorated with lots of Halloween designs made with the participation of the Craft Workshop students, the English teacher, Esperanza Cabezas and  the Department of  Complementary Extra-curricular Activities.

We must also highlight the excellent job done by the students of Professional Training on Electricity and their teacher Fran creating an appropriate environment for this occasion.

This year, I was encouraged and suggested to all my students (1ºBachillerato & 2º B) to take part in an extra activity offering them the opportunity to develop their creativity and critical thinking.

This was the poster I designed for the contest:

Here some pictures of my students with the High School decorations:

  • 2ºB (Bilingual Section)

  • 1ºBC/BH

26 students participated in the contest and their excellent jobs were shown in an exhibition on the school main hall:

18 members of the Educational Community chose the best one for them but the contestants are now the ones voting for the best.
Here you can see all the decorations with a number, then through Google Classroom, the student will be able to express their opinion.
Three winners will be announced as soon as possible. I know it is a hard task to choose one because my students did all their best.
