The International
Day of Peace is annually held on September 21 to recognize the efforts
of individuals, organizations and governments to end conflict and promote
peace. People around the world take part
in various activities and organize events centered on the theme “PEACE”. In Spain,
the School
Day of Non-violence and Peace is celebrated on January 30.
The motto of
this day is:
“Universal love, non-violence and peace.
Universal
love is better than selfishness,
non-violence is better than violence
and peace
is better than war”.
